Center for Parent/Youth Understanding - A Christian based website focused on helping parents and youth understand one another and parents understand teen culture.
Focus on the Family - Dr. James Dobson's family focused ministry. This resource is good for the parent of any aged child.
Plugged In Online - Ever wonder about a song, band, TV show, game, or movie that your child is interested in? This website gives you a Christian based review of including a breakdown of content.
Real World Parents - This site is maintained by one of the leading ministries in youth outreach, Youth Specialties. You will not be disappointed in the information you get here.
By Parents/For Parents - Although this site doesn't have any direct affiliation with a faith group, they have great information about living with teens in the home. Use this resource with an understanding that not all advice given will be from a Christian worldview.
10 Ways to Turn Around Your Teen - This is an E-Book resource written by Mark Gregston of Heartlight Ministries. Download and print out this book for some good teen parenting skills.

VITAL HANDOUTS:
 
The following are some of the handouts that you will want to have access to as you and your child become more involved with AMSM.
 
2010 Medical Release Form (This is a one time form filled out each year, covering all trips.)
2010 Calendar of Events (Listing of all planned activities for the current calendar year.)
General Permission Form (This is the basic form giving your child permission to attend a trip. Once a Medical Release Form is on file for the current year this will be the only form needed for events.)
Potential AMSM Volunteer Packet (This is the go to source for information about the AMSM program, as well as, the application process for those of you who feel God could be calling you to help minister to the youth of Allen Memorial.)
