The First Steps Nursery and Preschool Ministry at AMBC serves
children ages 0-5 on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings.
Sunday Mornings @ 9:30am and 11:00am
Wednesday Evenings @ 6:15 pm
We provide a safe, loving environment
where your preschooler can learn
Bible stories and of Jesus' love
through age-appropriate activities.
We ensure your child's safety through our electronic check-in system that provides a
name tag and security number that is special to your child.
This number is also used to notify you via the worship screen during the service if
your child needs you. The labeling systems also notes any medical concerns or
allergies that your child may have so that his/her teachers are aware.
We do provide a snack, usually goldfish and apple juice, during our time with your children. If your child has a food allergy, please notify his/her teacher.
You will receive a security receipt when your child checks in. This receipt is necessary
to pick up your child at the end of the service. We want to make sure that every child leaves with the appropriate person.
We offer age-appropriate activities that will teach your child about Jesus through crafts, stories, games and songs. Our classes are divided according to ages and are assigned an animal name. Be sure to look for the animal outside your child's door!
Infants: Lambs
One's : Ducks
Two's : Frogs
Three's: Monkeys
Four's: Giraffes
Kindergarten: Elephants
